Garfield has always been one of my top 5 favorite comic strips. I had Garfield books #1 - #40 I think (Older sister Dani started the collection with the first 20 or so).
The best part is, creator Jim Davis gave "-garfield" his blessing and they are publishing an actual hard copy book with all your favorite strips, but no cat.
Turns out Jon Arbuckle is a dark miserable depressing shell of a man, full of "existential angst."
I wonder what we'd think of Calvin if Hobbes was erased? I shudder to think.
